Photos from the organ concert in Michałowice - "Michałowice for John Paul II"

On June 5 at 18 p.m. will be held the Organ Concert "Michałowice for John Paul II" as a tribute to Bl. John Paul II. The place of the event will be Michałowice village near Kraków - Church in Michałowice. Organ improvisations performed by the eminent organist Marek Stefanski from Krakow will be interspersed with reflections on the recitation of the Decalogue, taken from the homily of John Paul II.
Recite will be the youth of the Middle School in Michałowice.

There has never yet been such an event in the Royal City of Cracow, which will be a musical event at the highest world level, offering the audience and the Polish cultural elite the opportunity of meeting the most outstanding musicians and their brilliant interpretations of musical works. This cyclical event, which is intended to be held every other year, is meant to broaden the musical horizons of all demanding music lovers, musicians-to-be and passionate concert-goers by keeping in touch with the international musical trends and communing with art at the highest world level.

The festival is also meant to become an international event, presenting young Polish pianists with an opportunity to launch a great international piano career.
